After moving to Austin in 1998, Jay Nolan spent the next 20 years working in the hospitality industry at some iconic Austin institutions - Maggie Mae's, Alamo Drafthouse, The Cedar Door and Hotel Saint Cecilia. Eventually Jay decided to leave all of that behind for a job that allowed him the flexibility to spend more time with his family, while his kids were still in school. Getting his real estate license in 2018 allowed him that flexibility and he realized that helping his clients was not too different from helping guests at the hotel or talking to patrons at the bar. Now, Jay uses his years of living in Central Texas, his time working in the hospitality industry, and his experiences in real estate to help buyers and sellers, renters and landlords find their perfect situation. When he's not working on real estate Jay is helping his son, Denver, get through online school and spends his time off watching and Austin FC or Astros game or sometimes lounging in the river with his family.
